<br />Exhibit J <br />Vegetation Information <br />Revision ql-Page lS of30 <br />PART ! <br />(a) Descrip[!on ojpresent vegetation types, which include quantitative estimate ojcover and height for <br />principal species !n each lije form represen[ed (i. e., trees, tat! shrubs, !ow shrubs, grasses, jorbsJ <br />Vegetation on the project site is sparse due to the high salinity levels in the soil. Vegetation <br />species on the project site consists tamerisk, greasewood, and halogeton. Spazse areas of grass <br />cover exist adjacent to the roadways. <br />The site is presently contains three tamerisk trees, and is 50% covered with greasewood, and 70% <br />covered noxious weeds including halogeton. <br />(b) the relationship ojpresent vegemtion types to sot! types, or the information may be presented on a <br />map. <br />See attached information obtained by from the MRCS in the Exhibit I <br />(c) Ijrange or agriculture pos[ mine use is proposed, provide estimated yields: <br />Range or agriculture uses are not proposed. <br />PART 2 <br />The operator shat! show the relalion ojthe types ojvegetatlon to existing lopopgrapy6y on a map in <br />Exhibit C. In providing such information, the operator may wish to contact the soil conservation service. <br />The applicant has worked with the NRCS to obtain information on soils and vegetation at the site. <br />The NRCS was also consulted to investigate soil types and recommend a reclamation seed mix. <br />
