6.3.3(1)(I)(g) Dimensions of Eaistiog and Proposed Roads. Improvements to Existing Roads
Existing roads are FDR 310; an existing road towazd the abandoned gravel pits; and a short road
segment from FDR 310 to the existing cabin and the existing mine portal bench. These roads may
be broken into segments as follows:
A: FDR 310, CH 133 to mine road turnoff. Average approximately 30
ft wide from top of cut (where present) to base of fill (where present),
1,400 ft in length, azea 0.96 acres. Overall gradient approximately
2.9% up to the east. Graded dirt with ditches and dip crossings where
necessary. Traffic controls: stop sign facing east at intersection with
CH 133; gate at WRNF boundary, locked in winter. ACMA uses
approximately 100 ft (0.07 acres) ofFDR 310 beyond the mine road
turnoff for turning equipment.
B: Mine road. Average approximately 12 ft wide, 150 ft in length, area
0.04 acres. Average gradient is approximately 14%. Rough-graded
dirt, partially ditched. Traffic controls: gate at intersection with FDR
3101ocked when not in use.
