Old gravel pit road. Leaves FDR 310 to right (southwest) just past <br />Forest Service boundary. Average width approximately 12 feet. <br />Unmaintained for may years, badly rutted dirt. <br />Page 5 <br />Improvements to existing FDR 310 are not contemplated at this time. Avalanche Creek Marble & <br />Alabaster has agreed to cooperate with White River National Forest with additional maintenance, <br />including dust control, that may be necessary as the result of additional traffic attributable to ACMA. <br />Traffic controls will consist of signs and gates. Number, size, placement, and exact wording will be <br />governed by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and WRNF. ACMA will also <br />install reflectors as necessary on fence posts and gates. <br />Gates: <br />Except as noted gates will be tubular steel agricultural gates, twin 10-ft sections, <br />equipped with padlocks. <br />Mine access road at its intersection with FDR 310. <br />Main yazd access road at its intersection with FDR 310. <br />6.3.3(1)(h) Quantity and Source of Water <br />Initially Avalanche Creek Marble 8c Alabaster is purchasing water from commercial sources. Five- <br />year water demand is expected to be as follows: <br />1999 40,000 gallons = 0.12 acre-feet <br />2000 80,000 gallons = 0.24 acre-feet <br />2001 120,000 gallons = 0.37 acre-feet <br />2002 120,000 gallons = 0.37 acre-feet <br />2003 120,000 gallons = 0.37 acre-feet <br />Water will be trucked from an appropriate site providing water sales to the public.
