-6- desired and a detailed justification for the request. The Assistant Director will notify the Recipient of approval or disapproval within 30 days of receipt of such requests. Section 3.22 The Recipient shall obtain a contract with a reputable and competent construction firm to perform the project work. This requirement shall not preclude the firm from subcontracting or entering into joint ventures with other firms. Section 3.23 Suitable photographic documentation of the work performed under the project contract shall be provided to OSM. This will consist of a minimal number of 35mm color slides or prints taken before the work is initiated, as the work progresses, and upon completion of the work. A very brief description of the work pictured, the date of the photograph, the title of the project, and photographer's name shall be printed on the border of the slide. OSM shall have the right to reproduce, print, or other- wise use or authorize others to use the slides for Government purposes. Section 3.24 The Recipient shall furnish the Project Officer two copies of all executed contracts, with related plans annexed thereto, for OSM file documentation. Section 3.25 Any proposed modifications to the Scope of Work must be submitted to the OSM Project Officer for prior concurrence. Section 3.26 If the Recipient modifies the contract, and the modification results in expenditures under the contract in excess of the amount approved for such work under this agreement, the Recipient alone shall bear the excess in costs unless this Agreement is amended in advance to provide additional funds. Section 3.27 The Recipient shall transfer to OSM the appropriate share, based on the Federal support percentage, of any refund, rebate, credit or other amounts arising out of the performance of this agreement, along with accrued interest, if any. The Recipient shall take necessary action to effect prompt collection of all monies due or which may be due and to cooperate with OSM in any claim or suit in connection with amounts due.
