<br />XXI, Bonding - Rule 2.05.4 (2)(b) <br />The bonding in place at the time of the permit renewal applicaton <br />totaled 5644,825.00. During the renewal review process a detailed bond <br />calculation was performed by the Division and it was determined that <br />the Golden Eagle Mine was underbonded by 1;242,291.00. Most of this <br />figure was attributed to the way demolition of buildings was calculated <br />(f t2 vs ft3) and adjustment for inflation. In conjunction with <br />this, during renewal process a minor revision (MR-19) was submitted and <br />approved which <br />required still another X3,462,00 of additional bonding. Asa result, <br />the total required amount of the Golden Eagle Mine bond is <br />5890,578.00. A detailed breakdown of the bond can be found in Exhibit <br />19 of the application. To insure that the bond will be on file with <br />the Division before final approval is granted, the following <br />stipulation is necessary. <br />Stipulation No. 48 <br />THE OPERATOR WILL AMEND THE PRESENT BOND FROM 5644,825,00 TO 5890, <br />578.00 TO REFLECT THE DISCREPANCIES DISCOVERED DURING THE RENEWAL <br />PROCESS. THE NEW BOND WILL BE IN PLACE BEFORE JANUARY 25, 1989 OR <br />FINAL APPROVAL WILL N07 BE GRANTED <br />Upon satisfying the above stipulation the operation will be 1n <br />compliance with the requirement of this section. <br />XXII. Sealing of Drilled Holes and Underground Openings - Rules 2.05.4(2)(8) <br />an . <br />Information on sealing of drill holes and underground openings can be <br />found on pages 2.05-28 and 29 and Figures 4 and 5. <br />The operation is in compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />XXIII. Subsidence - Rules 2,05.6(6} and 4.20 <br />A detailed account of the subsidence monitoring plan can be found n <br />Exhibit 24 of the Permit Application. The subdidence monuments were <br />installed on March 21, 1988 and the first displacement data was <br />received on August 23, 1988. No significant displacement had occurred <br />at the time of this survey. Stipulation 28 on subsidence is still in <br />effect. Stipulation 29 requesting analytical pillar stability <br />calculations has been satisfied. <br />Stipulation No. 28 <br />THE PERMITTEE SHALL PERFORM A SURVEY OF THE FIVE POTENTIALLY AFFECTED <br />ADOBE CONSTRUCTED HOUSES ON A QUARTERLY BASIS, IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE <br />REQUIREMENTS OF RULE 2.05.6(6)(c)(i)(D) <br />The operation is in compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />-37- <br />
