<br /> <br />XVIII. Coal Processing Waste - Rules 2.05.3(8), 2.05.4(2)(f), 4.10 and 4.11 <br />No coal processing waste or non-coal processing waste is produced by this <br />operation. The only processing is to crush the coal to proper size for <br />domestic sale. <br />The proposed operation is in compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />XIX. Mine Facilities, Coal Handling Structures, Support Facilities - Rules <br />Information on support facilities, coal handling structures and mine <br />facilities can be found on page 12 on Exhibits 9 and 10. These facilities and <br />structures are discussed in this document under the section on Operations <br />Description. <br />No concerns relative to these requirements were identified. The operation is <br />in compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />XX, Roads - Rules 2.05.3(3) and 4.03 <br />Information on roads can be found on page 12 and in Exhibit 9 of the permit <br />renewal application. <br />Access to the mine is by county road. Only two small segments of road, each <br />less than 500 feet in length, were constructed by the operator. These roads <br />meet all the requirements for grade, drainage, and surfacing of 4.03 for <br />access roads. <br />The operation is in compliance with requirements of this section. <br />XXI. Bonding - Rule 2.05.4(2){b) and Rule 3 <br />A reclamation cost of $34,600.00 was calculated by the Division as the amount <br />necessary to reclaim the site in the event the Division became responsible for <br />completing the reclamation. <br />A $36,000.00 performance bond for the second permit term has been submitted <br />and accepted by the Division. <br />The operation is in compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />XXII. Sealir~g~of Drilled Holes and Underground Openings - Rules <br />~s r-s~--m <br />The applicant has done no drilling, thus no drill holes will have to be sealed. <br />-16- <br />
