The following is a brief summary of all revisions received by the Division since Permit Renewal 03. Technical Revision-52 was submitted on 23 May 2000, called complete on 23 May 2000 and approved on 25 October 2000. This revision allowed for the construction of a new return air shaft to the B Seam workings (RS #2), and associated light use road; and a new ventilation shaft to the D Seam workings west mains (WMVS #1). Technical Revision -53 was submitted on 16 January 200I, called complete on 26 January 2001 and approved on 17 Apri12001. This revision was submitted in response to an order to revise the permit issued by the Division. The revision includes map revisions to more accurately delineate disturbance azea boundaries, and provides additional design documentation and demonstrations for Small Area Sediment Control Exemptions (SAE`S). Technical Revision -54 was submitted on 12 February 2001, called complete on 20 February 2001 and approved on 17 August 2001. This revision addresses detailed sediment control plans and demonstrations for the East Portal Facilities' reclaimed configuration. A preliminary plan, which was not approved, had been included in TR-51, but that plan was withdrawn. Technical Revision -55 was submitted on 25 May 2001, called complete on 4 June 2001 and approved on 20 July 2001. This revision provides additional map and narrative documentation regarding non-coal waste, equipment and material storage facilities. The revision was submitted to abate Notice of Violation CV-2001-010. Technical Revision -56 was submitted on 22 August 2001 and subsequently withdrawn with the submittal of Permit Revision 04. Technical Revision -57 was submitted on 24 May 2002, called complete on 28 May 2002 and approved on 8 July 2002. This revision allowed for the construction of an additional B-Seam return air shaft (RS-3) and an associated light use road within the Deserado Mine pemut azea. Technical Revision -58 was submitted on 12 August 2002, called complete on 16 August 2002 and approved on 23 August 2003. This revision provided modified designs for permanent ditches and specific design information for temporary "in pit" ditches at Refuse Area RP-Sa. This revision was submitted to abate Notice ofViolation CV-2002-016. Technical Revision -59 was submitted on 14 October 2003 and called complete on 27 Octocer 2003. This revision allowed for the use of trucks to haul coal to the loadout and for the construction of a new rail caz loading system. This revision was withdrawn on 25 November 2003. Technical Revision - 60 was submitted on 26 August 2004, called complete on I September 2004 and is still being considered by the Division. This revision was in response to Stipulation --- -53. It addressed final designs for the refuse piles at the Deserado Mine. - - 14
