Minor Revision-119 was submitted on 23 May 2000, called complete on 23 May 2000 and
approved on 7 June 2000. This revision allowed for drilling of one additional coal development
hole within the Deserado Permit Area. Hole #310132-24 would be used to define the start line
for B Seam Longwall Panel #2.
Minor Revision -120 was submitted on 3 May 2001, called complete on 3 May 2001 and
approved on 7 May 2001. Phis revision provided minor updates to Map 147, "Small Area
Exemptions Location Map" and includes documentation for two small azea exemption sites not
previously addressed.
Minor Revision -121 was submitted on 17 May 2001, called complete on 21 May 2001 and
approved on 16 July 2001. This revision allowed for the drilling of three development drill sites,
with associated light use roads, within the existing permit area.
Minor Revision -122 was submitted on 27 July 2001, called complete on 2 October 2001 and
approved on 3 October 2001. This revision provided a table and amended map listing applicable
sediment demonstration designs for specific soil stockpiles and drill sites within the Deserado
Permit Area.
Minor Revision -123 was submitted on 24 August 2001, called complete on 27 August 2001 and
approved on 4 September 2001. This revision allowed for the addition of a dust control additive
(coherex) tank adjacent to the rock dust silo on the rock dust shaft pad azea. The installation
included a concrete containment structure. The revision did not include any new surface
disturbance. The revision also updated the Air Quality Permits for the mine.
Minor Revision -124 was submitted on 3 April 2002, called complete on 10 Apri12002 and
approved on 10 Apri12002. This revision allowed for the shortening of Diversion Ditch SB west
of Refuse Area Sa, by directing the ditch into a stable natural drainage approximately 200 feet
up-gradient from the existing point where the ditch ends at a steep arroyo.
Minor Revision -125 was submitted on 16 September 2002, called complete on 19 September
2002 and approved on 19 September 2002. This revision updated permit exhibit map 77A to
show correct location of the west entrance to refuse area Sa, with a formerly proposed culvert
eliminated. Due to location of the entrance, a culvert is not necessary.
Minor Revision-126 was submitted on 19 Apri12004, called complete on 27 Apri12004 and
approved on 3 June 2004. This revision allowed for the recontouring of the intersection of the
refuse pile haul road and County Road 65 to increase haul truck visibility.

approved on 11 August 2004. This revision allowed for the replacement of a raw water line from
the intake lagoon to the mine site.
