9. The information on the two groundwater monitoring wells is unclear. Please clarify
if the elevation at the top of TP-W1 is 5,773 feet and that it is 201 feet deep.
Please indicate the top-of-casing height, ground level elevation, depth to the bottom
of the mine, casing type and casing diameter of the Caldirola Well. Review of
information on the map entitled "Hydrology, Caldirola No. 2 Mine" leaves some
question as to which of the two Coal Creek wells is being monitored. Please submit a current Mine Map showing the permit
area boundaries per Rule 2.10.1(21, and address the Division's observation. If Twin
Pines Limited Partnership mined outside the permit area, please document the areal
extent of unpermitted mining, the amount of coal acquired and the duration of
mining in the area.
1 1. The sediment pond, office trailer and scale at the tipple appear to be within 100
feet of County Road 86. The topsoil piles and the Lewis Gulch sediment pond also
appear to be within 100 feet of the outside right-of-way line of the offshoot of
County Road 77. Please obtain the appropriate Fremont County approvals per
2.07.6(2)(d)(iv).
12. Operations information on the Sales area appears to be limited. Describe the
structures and their functions at the Sales Office to show compliance with
2.05.3(3)(a). Please provide the following information or reference the location in
the permit application of the following items:
a. Dimensions of the tipple and associated foundations (Rule 2.05.4);
b. Dimensions of the shop building (Rule 2.05.4);
c. Dimensions of the office trailer (Rule 2.05.41; and
d.
