Stipulation No. 5 <br />PRIOR TO ANY RESEEDING THE APPLICANT MUST TEST THE SEED BED MATERIAL <br />TO DETERMINE THE NEED FOR SOIL AMENDMENTS IN ORDER TO INSURE <br />REVEGETATION SUCCESS. THE APPLICANT SHALL ADD THE NECESSARY <br />MATERIALS (LIME AND FERTILIZERI AS INDICATED BY THE TEST RESULTS. <br />BEFORE CONDUCTING THESE SOIL TESTS THE APPLICANT SHALL SUBMIT THEIR <br />PROPOSED TEST PROGRAM TO THE DIVISION AND HAVE THE TESTING PROGRAM <br />APPROVED. <br />Status - In Compliance, Terminated <br />The Twin Pines Mine has submitted a test program for testing the seed bed material in a <br />stipulation summary letter dated May 23, 1985. The test program exceeds the minimum <br />recommendation made by MLRD in its letter to Twin Pines dated January 28, 1985. The <br />test program as submitted was accepted by the Division. <br />Stipulation No. 6 <br />THE APPLICANT SHALL SUBMIT REVEGETATION SUCCESS STANDARDS IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH RULE 4.15.10 FOR THE PORTAL AREA WITHIN 90 DAYS OF <br />PERMIT ISSUANCE. AS A MINIMUM, GROUND COVER OF LIVING PLANTS SHALL <br />NOT BE LESS THAN CAN BE SUPPORTED BY THE BEST AVAILABLE TOPSOIL, AND <br />SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN THE GROUND COVER EXISTING BEFORE <br />REDISTURBANCE AND SHALL BE ADEQUATE TO CONTROL EROSION. <br />Status - In Compliance, Terminated <br />Twin Pines submitted revegetation success standards in conjunction with the <br />1989/1990 Permit Renewal. This was incorporated into the permit application on <br />Page 88A (REV. 10/6/89). <br />Stipulation No. 7 <br />THE OPERATOR SHALL CONSTRUCT A SEDIMENT TRAP 13 FEET DEEP AND 10 <br />FEET LONG) AT THE INLET OF THE LEWIS GULCH FILL CULVERT PRIOR TO <br />COMPLETION OF THE FILL. <br />Status - In Compliance. Terminated <br />Twin Pines has agreed to install a sediment trap in a Stipulation Resolution Summary dated <br />November 6, 1984. This stipulation is resolved and no further response is required . <br />Twin Pines Mid-Term Review 9 January 13, 1993 <br />
