The following restates the <br />narrative segment of the application requirements as included in the pending application, with <br />modifications consistent with the Cover Sheet, Extraction Plan Map, and approved DMG permit <br />noted in bold type. <br />I. Please note the following change of address for <br />the applicant: <br />Aggregate Industries -WCR, Inc. <br />1707 Cole Boulevard, Suite I00 <br />Golden, CO 80401 <br />2: A summary-of the-mining operation is presented-below-For-a-detailed description-of mining <br />and reclamation methods, please see Exhibits C, D, E, and F in the attached DMG <br />application materials. <br />a. Equipment used at this site will be consistent with that used at other sand and gravel <br />extraction operations in the County; however, there will not be any processing <br />equipment at this site. Operational equipment may include but not be limited to: <br />1-Dozer <br />4 Loaders <br />1 Compactor <br />2 Generators <br />1 Employee/Storage Trailer <br />1 Excavator <br />4 Scrapers <br />1 Water Truck <br />2 Portable Toilets <br />I Fueling/Lubricating Facility <br />b., The maximum number of employees for the Wattenberg Lakes operation will be <br />four (4). Two 8-hour shifts will operate Monday through Saturday from approximately <br />6:00 AM to 10':00 PM. <br />a The operation will be a dry pit. <br />_ - _d. _All employee vehicles_will_access the propErty from Weld_County_Road_(WCR).23%z- <br />approximately 0.75 miles north of WCR 2. Mining equipment will initially be brought <br />onto the site from WCR 23%, but will not enter and exit on a daily basis. Aggregate <br />materials will be removed using front-end loaders prior to being placed on a conveyor <br />system. The conveyor will transport the material over the South Platte River to be <br />processed at an existing DMG permitted mining site (DMG Permit Number M-89-120 <br />and Weld County USR Permit Number U5R-905} located immediately east of <br />Wattenberg Lakes. All aggregate materials will be processed at the adjoining site and <br />will be hauled from that site via WCR 6. Haul trucks will proceed east on WCR 6 to <br />Highway 85. The applicant has been working with the county engineering staff, public <br />works, and CDOT on improvements/upgrades to the Highway 85 intersection and that <br />portion of WCR 6 to be utilized by this operation <br />
