1
Banks and Gesso, LLC
' All material to be mined from the consolidated properties will be transported via
t conveyor and/or hauled to the existing plant site on parcel A-1. The average
annual production from the existing plant site has been 700,000 tons per year.
' This means an average of 90 to 100 haul trucks per day enter and leave the
existing site which is exactly the same as the number included here.
'
The addition of the new parcels through this consolidation will not result in any
' new truck traffic, no increase in truck traffic nor the need for a new access to
Riverdale Road. Production from the site will remain at the 700,000 tons per
' year average. Nothing will change.
' All material leaving the site will leave via the existing access point, therefore, no
new access permit will be required. No new truck haul routes are being
' proposed beyond the existing route. This application will have no new impacts
other than to extend the operations for approximately 7 years at an already
' existing mine.
' The existing mine is broken into two parcels. The plant site is located to the
north (Parcel A-1) and mining and reclamation is located on the south (Parcel A-
' 2). The existing plant site to the north will be the last area to be reclaimed while
reclamation of the southern portion will take place sequentially.

5.1 Property Description
' The property that is the subject of this request is approximately 287.4 acres in
size. A portion of the property (formerly the "Hammer Pit") was rezoned for
' mining in Case #145-73-ZP.
' The parcels being added through this consolidation are listed in the Adams
County Comprehensive Plan as agricultural. The parcels are not within the
' municipal growth area of the City of Brighton. The parcels are shown in the City
of Brighton Comprehensive Plan to be in "Joint Planning Area Agricultural".
1
' Brighton Mine Conditional Use Permit 4 20007WD
CAMAS Colorado, INC.
