The
parcels do not have a conditional use permit but do have a valid Division of
Minerals and Geology 112 Permit for the "Life of the Mine". All other permits
to operate are in place. These parcels contain approximately 130.6 acres.
CAMAS Colorado, Inc. is the owner of these parcels.
• Parcel B: This parcel, commonly referred to as the "Tree Farm", at one time
had a conditional use permit for mining of sand and gravel through Adams
County. That conditional use permit has lapsed. The property also has a
valid Division of Minerals and Geology 112 Permit for the "Life of the Mine".
This permit covers the property shown on the Exhibit B-2 Parcel map. Under
this application for a consolidated conditional use permit, and a concurrent
Division of Minerals and Geology 112 Permit Amendment, the plan is to limit
mining to the east of Riverdale Road. The parcel contains approximately 66.3
acres. CAMAS Colorado, Inc. will lease this parcel. The Division of Minerals
and Geology Permit M 82-148, has been transferred to CAMAS.
Parcel C: This parcel is known as the "Renslow" parcel. It currently has no
permits and contains approximately 32.8 acres. CAMAS Colorado, Inc. will
purchase a portion of this property.
• Parcel D: This parcel is known as the "Goetr' property. It currently has no
permits. E-470 is in the process of taking the southern portion of this parcel
and CAMAS Colorado, Inc. is purchasing the remainder to the north of the
highway alignment which consists of approximately 57.7 acres of land.
In total, these parcels constitute approximately 287.4 acres of land. These
acquisitions and consolidation will add approximately 7 years of reserves to the
existing sand and gravel operation.
Brighton Mine Conditional Use Permit 3
' CAMAS Colorado, INC.
20007WD
May 2000
