Mr. Simpson, State Engineer
Dept. of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO. 80203
Dear Mr. Simpson,
L' - 9/19/06
~~
On, 9/11/06, I sent you a registered letter, expressing our concern over the
loss of our surface water, because of the construction of a gravel pit right in
the middle of first creek. It has been a long standing law, that natural
streams are sacred and can not be altered, much less stopped forever. As I
said in my first letter, I am 74 years old, and have driven across this stream
many, many times in my lifetime. This year is the first time in 74 years,
there has not been any water in this stream.
Your job is to protect our Natural Resources. We had hoped that by
alerting you of this problem, you would send someone from your department
out to investigate this situation.
Our trees and grass are dying, because the surface water beneath our
property has been stopped. We desperately need your help. Would you
please send someone out to visit with my wife and myself about this
problem.
Sincerely,
Bud & Crrace Scott
13185 Brighton Road
Brighton, CO. 80601
303-659-8076
