Item 1 of the Bid Schedule. Any or all incidental costs incurred by the <br />CONTRACTOR shall be reflected in the bid item or shall be paid at the <br />CONTRACTOR'S expense, ~ - ~ - <br />2. Removal and Disposal Performance Standards <br />The CONTRACTOR shall remove from the mine site four (4) 55-gallon drums, the <br />waste oil contained in the drums, potential hazardous material contained in the <br />drums and any contaminated soil. The items shall be removed with appropriate <br />certified equipment and vehicles for handling the potential hazazdous materials. The <br />CONTRACTOR shall also remove the soil and debris used to contain the 55 gallon <br />drums using appropriate certified equipment and vehicles. The CONTRACTOR <br />must have the necessary EPA ID's (hazardous waste identification number) to <br />transport the waste oil and potential hazardous material. The volume of soil removal <br />is estimated to be less than 5 cubic yazds of material. Soil and debris material shall <br />be removed from an azea estimated to be 10 by 10 feet. All removal of waste oil <br />and possible hazardous materials shall be in accordance with all County, State and <br />Federal Rules. The CONTRACTOR shall exercise extreme caution at all times <br />during the handling, and removal of all performance standards. <br />Records regazding the removal of all 4 55-gallon drums must be submitted to the <br />PROJECT' MANAGER, and must comply with all State and Federal Rules and <br />Regulations. <br />The CONTRACTOR shall dispose of all drums, waste oil, potential hazardous <br />constituents, and contaminated soil and debris in a matter that abides by all State <br />and Federal Rules and Regulations in the State of Colorado. The method of <br />disposal will be the result of the TCI.P mentioned in Part I of the sampling <br />procedure and should use the best technologies currently available to properly <br />dispose of the material: At the point of disposal, the waste must comply with the <br />treatment standards for each listed waste contained in the mixture. If the mixture <br />also exhibits a characteristic, and if the characteristic treatment standard is not <br />superseded by a listed waste standard, the chazacteristic treatment must be met. <br />If the solvent recovery process produces any residues requiring disposal, these <br />residues will be subject to the land disposal restrictions. The cleanup residue <br />(contaminated soil) must be treated to meet the approved standards before being <br />land disposed. If the TCI1' sample indicates that any of the 55-gallon drums is used <br />oil, the CONTRACTOR may recycle the waste with an approved EPA Notified <br />Burner Blender. <br />The CONTRACTOR must provide to the PROJECT MANAGER the notice and <br />certification from generator to disposal facility for wastes meeting the treatment <br />standard and other appropriate documentation regarding the disposal of the waste. <br />If the waste is recycled with an approved EPA Notified Burner Blender, the <br />
