SUBURBAN SAND AND GRAVEL
ROAD RUNNERS REST 11
' CASE #'s 13-80-CP d 20-92-C(A)
I We estimate this change in the mining plan will extend the
life of the mining operation by 1 to 4 years as we remove the
' additional gravel in the mined area. We will clean the floor,
dress the slopes and let the lake fill with water as mining ends.

M.L.R.B. RECLAMATION PLAN CHANGES
' There is no change to the Reclamation Plan or to the current
revegetation plans as approved. We plan to resoil the site above
' the final proposed lake elevation, use the approved seed mixture,
and follow the rehabilitation methods as described in the ap-
' proved plan. Revegetation on the above water areas will begin
once the lake level stabilizes.
Since reclamation runs concurrent with mining, we keep the
' amount of disturbed area to a minimum as required in the current
M.L.R.B. bond.
' WATER
There are no changes to this section of the permit as
I originally approved. A well permit and Temporary Substitute
Supply plan was submitted to the Division of water Resources
I (DWR) in 1991. They are still reviewing this permit.
Infiltration of water from the surround land can be easily
I controlled with pumps. From the south it should be nonexistent
or very limited because a water storage reservoir is being
' constructed along that side. The north and west slope of this
facility is adjacent to the river and water will seep into the
excavation along this perimeter. The amount of water entering
' the excavated area from the east or up gradient will not be great
enough to cause us any problems. We will have the pump capacity
to keep it clear of water.
The table on page 8 is a list of the wells, and their
I physical data, gleaned from the well records at the State Engi-
neers office. The map on page 10 shows their approximate loca-
l tion in relation to the permit area. These locations are approx-
1 5
