unsoded area then reseeded with meadow mix.
3 The area north of the tube is to the excavated down to
about 3' above the orginal terrain. The irrigation ditch then
dug out to flow as described in the water item ~1.
4 We have located photo's which show the damaged culvert
that drains into culvert #1. This culvert used to drain the area
above the second switch back. The area started failing less than
a year after it was installed. We brought this to the attention
of Division personnel and was told. "I don't have time" or "I'm
to busy" or It's not important." Mr. Clampton took photos and
someone in the office destroyed them. He was fired! We were
forced (by the Board- 20 min) to accept the road (destroyed) over
our veral and published (see attached) objections. Most areas
next to the road were never reclaimed. The steep cut slopes
streWw with boulders and the berms do not produce grass and must
be corrected. They are not part of the road as Mr Casson of Sun
Coal said, "All Mr Eilts got was the road." Also Sun Coal did in
fact reclaim the steel stock pile area next to the road, Sun
Coal also was forced by the Division to reclaim the area below
the shop area which we had excavated in 1963 in order to fill the
old river bed to extend our airfield. The Board and the Division
is responsible for the destruction of the road and appurtenances
thereto. Sun Coal, by letter objected to the roads destruction.
5 The slide area (10 years ago) below the compressor shed
and our oil well still has never been reclaimed. The area still
has several large concrete footings in the hillside which was
installed for Suns planed loadout. The Div~l•sion is responsible
.~
