hazard to humans and livestock. These hazards must be searched
out and removed.
3 Restoration of access to various parts of the ranch must
still be accomplished.
a A straight in access to the upper Coal View old mine area
must be made as it was before.
b The curve for access to our upper oil well must be
widened, restored to as it was. Access to the oil storage tank
is not adequate, and must be corrected.
c The airfield must have easy and good access after the
meadow is restored.
Land reclamation subjects----- The area between the front
entry, the bridge, and along the river to the tracks must be
restored to its original or better configuration.
1 All foreign gravel, red rock etc must be removed. We
will work with Sun as to~lace material at the least expense. It
may be necessary to remove the substation. The ditch along the
tracks was discussed in the water chapter.
2 The airfield must be restored to its former condition
this coming summer! We have been denied its use far too long!
Although the meadow has been replanted several times there still
is no sod or grass because there is little or no topsoil. The
area is full of rocks and coal residue. We demand that sod be
placed on the runway (30' wide) and turn around portion (60' half
circle) as is was before mining activities. This means of course
that most of the area must have the coal residue rocks etc
removed and top soil btought in to restore the grade. The
J
