The irrigation ditch is to run along the <br />edge of the bank to connect up with the present ditch which is <br />the exit for culvert ~1. Culvert #1 and the drainage above will <br />be addressed in another chapter. <br />3 The "back forty" surface mined area needs to be corrected <br />in order to restore our water. Ponds must be removed and one <br />pond constructed on Grassy Creek Coal company property to stop <br />erosion of our property. Ripping 20' apart across the now much <br />steeper slope (no brush or trees) every three years will also <br />help solve the problem.
