XZV. Prime Farmland (2.04.12, 2.06.6, 4.25)
The Division has made a negative determinat3 on for the presence of prime farm-
lands within the proposed permit area. The decision was based on the evidence
provided by the Soil Conservation Service that there are no prime farmland
mapping units within the proposed permit area. This evidence can be found
on pages 95 and 96 in Volume I of the Coors Keenesburg permit application.
IV. Operations bescription (2.05.2, 2.05.3(1), 2.05.3(2), 4.OI)
The mine operations general description and mine facilities sections of the
permit application have been reviewed by the Division. A11 concerns per-
taining to the operations description which were raised in the April 23, 1981
Preliminary Adequacy Review have been satisfactorily resolved and the pro-
posed operation is in compliance. The mine operations general description
and mine facilities section can be found on pages 97-115 of volume Z and
Appendices M-2, N-1, N-2, and N-3 of Volume 2.
XVI. Explosi ves (2.05.3(6), 4,08)
The explosives section of the permit application has been reviewed by the
Division for compliance. The blasting section can be found in Volume 1, pages
104-105. With the acceptance by Coors Energy Company of the following stipula-
tion, the proposed operation is in compliance.
Coors Energy Company plans to implement and maintain blasting records containing
a1I information requested by the Division. The Division requests that all
applicable items in Rule 4,OB.5 be included on a blast recording form to be
generated by Coors Energy Company. This form should be submitted to and
approved by the Division before being put into regular use.
COORS ENERGY COMPANY WILL SUBMIT TO AND HAVE APPROVED BY THE DIVISION,
PRIOR TO ANY BLASTING UNDER THEIR NEW PERMIT, A BLAST RECORDING FORM
THAT PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECORD ALL APPLICABLE INFORMATION FOUND
IN RULE 4.08.5.
