Contractor Qualification References <br />Bidders must submit qualifications of blasting with their bid. Award will be made with <br />reasonable promptness, by written notice to the low responsive and responsible bidder <br />whose bid meets the critical set forth in Section 2 of the Invitation for bid. <br />The low bidder shall submit the items listed below reflecting experience and qualification <br />of the CONTRACTOR or intended subcontractor to perform the blasting program. The <br />CONTRACT'OR'S bid is subject to acceptance or rejection by the PROJECT MANAGER <br />based on the experience and qualifications reflected in the submitted items. These items <br />must be submitted with the bid. <br />A list of major components to be uses, such as initiation systems, explosive <br />types, drilling equipment and other critical characteristics for each item prior <br />to commencement of work. <br />2. A listing of personnel to perform the work. Personnel lists should include <br />experience and qualification of key personnel. <br />3. A reference list of similar work performed in the previous five (5) years, using <br />similar equipment and personnel. Include date, project locations, and phone <br />numbers to reference. <br />Project Start <br />The project is scheduled with a startup date of November 22, 1993. If your company cannot <br />schedule construction during this period, please do not bid on this project. A Notice of <br />Award will be sent to the apparent low responsive and responsible bidder within four (4) <br />days of the bid opening. The Division of Minerals and Geology must receive the required <br />insurance, bonds and project schedule within fourteen (14) days after the bid opening. At <br />the expiration of the fourteen days, DMG may elect to award the contract to the next lowest <br />bidder. Bidders are advised to keep in close contact with CDMG during this period. <br />Project Schedule and Pre-Construction Requirements <br />The project is scheduled for construction between November 22, and December 16, 1993. <br />A schedule for work items to be completed within this time period must be submitted to the <br />PROJECT MANAGER for approval prior to the start of construction. The project schedule <br />shall show time lines of major activities and Bid items, and shall demonstrate the <br />CONTRACT'OR'S ability to complete the project within the allotted time. <br />2 <br />
