-2-
Section III.2.2.8.11 -Ventilation Fan Housin

In addition to the changes to the condition and make-up of this structure that
were described in Amendment No. 1, a majority of the remaining steel plate
airway panels have been removed. Only a few plates remain and most of these
have been torn down.
Section III.2.2.6.14 -Coal Conveyor
This structure is still relatively intact as shown on the original drawings,
however a majority of the conveyor belt has been removed, as well as the steel
plate loading chute near the crusher building and a few of the roller
assemblies. The dollar amount bid for demolition and removal of this
structure shall be based on the current condition of the structure and not as
originally depicted on the drawings and exhibits.
Section III.2.2.6.16 - Reclaim Tunnel and Conveyor
Several of the roller assemblies situated along the conveyor framing near the
tunnel mouth have been removed. The dollar amount bid for demolition and
removal of this structure shall be based on it's current condition and not as
originally depicted in the drawings and exhibit.
Section III.2.2.6.17 - Loadout
All remaining roller assemblies along the conveyor from the mouth of the
reclaim tunnel to the end of the conveyor have been removed. In addition, the
conveyor drive motor and oxy/acetylene tanks on the loadout deck have been
removed. The dollar amount bid for demolition and removal of this structure
shall be based on it's current condition and not as originally depicted in the
drawings.
Section III.2.2.6.20 - Electrical Power and Light Poles and Wires
Exhibits 3B, 3C, 3D, and 3E (copies attached) have been revised to note that
some additional power poles and wire have been removed. The underlined
notations on the revised exhibits describe which poles and lines shown on the
original exhibits have been removed. The attached exhibits hereby replace
original exhibits 3B, 3C, 3D, and 3E from the October 26, 1989 Invitation and
Bid.
Section III.5.2.B - Regrading
The last sentence on page 2 of Amendment No. 1 under the heading "Section
III .5.2.6 - Regrading" that begins with the words "Payment for regrading
work..." is hereby changed to read: "With the exception of the excess fill
material stockpile, payment for regrading work will not be based on movement
of measured quantities, but rather for achieving the topographic contours
shown on Exhibits 4A and 4B. The excess fill material stockpile shall contain
a minimum of 4,000 cubic yards of non-coal earth fill material. Payment for
this portion o e regra ing work will be based on field measurements of the
size of the excess fill material stockpile."
