-.herbaceous vegetation only, as soon as complete, i.e. late ].978 or
spring 1979. Placement in this location will serve both as a soil
stockpile area and as a visual screeh between the county ro~id and the
tailing dam. The screen stockpile itself is not indicated on the 90-
acre corridor shown on the map because the exact location hers not yet
been determined. The actual total disturbance will not exceed 50
acres.
The remaining 1.7 million yd3 of soil necessary fcr covering
the tailing will be saved in a similar fashion during 1982-1984 and
stockpiled in the other corridor areas of 50 acres each (cod.ed X21)
indicated on .the map outside the ultimate perimeter of the tailing.
The combined maximum disturbance of these two additional areas will
not exceed a total of 50 acres.
Areas from which soil is removed will of course be inundated
with tailing. The perimeter stockpiles will also be stabilized with
herbaceous vegetation immediately upon completion within growing
season restraints.
Spotted Doe Area (22)
The spotted doe area (22) is an old cabin site presently
being used for storage.
