GROUND WATER MONITORING LOCATIONS A number of wells are used for monitoring the ground water. These include wells specifically installed for monitoring purposes as well as water supply wells. The monitoring well locations are shown on Map 11. The well designation are marked at each location. The sampling frequency and type for each station are shown on Table 1. SPRINGS A number of springs are monitored for flow and water quality. Each spring monitoring point is marked with a stake and the spring designation. The location of each spring is shown on Map 11. The sampling frequency and type for each station are shown on Table 2. The springs are not on CEC property. If access permission is required from the land owner, the telephone number and name of the land owner is also included on Table 2. SURFACE WATER One stream is monitored for flow and water quality. It is the Williams Fork River. The monitoring locations are shown on Map 11. The locations include those at which the U.S. Geologic Survey is operating surface water stage height gages and recorders. Those stations are not part of the CEC personnels' responsibility and are shown for informational purposes only. Each CEC surface water monitoring station is marked with a stake and station designation, except the information is written directly on a pier at stations located next to bridges. The sampling frequency and type for each station are shown on Table 3. NPDES DISCHARGE POINTS Nineteen NPDES discharge points are regularly monitored. The locations are shown on Map 26. Flow rates and water quality are measured regularly at three sites. The sampling frequency and type for each of the three sites are shown on Table 4. Certain sampling is performed by Commercial Testing Labs (CTL) 'and the information on these sampling locations is presented for informational purposes only. 2
