Bidders are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks or clarifications given at this meeting and <br />site showing, all terms and conditions of the contract documents remain unchanged unless they <br />are changed by written amendment issued by the OWNER. If the answers to questions, or any <br />amendment to the contract documents create ambiguities, it is the responsibility of the bidder to <br />seek clarification prior to submitting a bid. <br />.1% <br />BID OPENING DATE ,.y' - <br />~' -r <br />The bid opening date for this project is July~'P,1999 at 2:30 p.m. <br />The project is scheduled for construction between August 9, 1999 and August 18, 1999. This <br />includes one (1) day mobilization time. <br />TIME OF COMPLETION <br />The time of completion allowed for the project is n ne (9) calendar days after receipt of the Notice <br />to Proceed. This includes one (1) day mobilization time. <br />PROJECT FUNDING <br />This Project is 100% funded by severance taxes paid by producing coal mines in Colorado. <br />Bid Submission and Evaluations <br />Bids shall be submitted by 2:30 p.m. on July 22, 1999 by fax, mail or in person to Yvonne <br />Brannon. Telephoned bids will not be accepted. The attached bid schedule must be submitted by <br />all bidders. Award will be made to the lowest grand total bid. <br />Bid Award <br />The apparent low bidder must submit a certificate of insurance with the following limits: <br />Standard Worker's Compensation and Employer Liability, as required by State Statute <br />including occupational disease, covering all employees at the work site. <br />2. General Liability (Public Liability 8 Property Damage) (Minimum); <br />a. Combined single limit of $600,000 written on an occurrence basis; <br />b. Any aggregate will not be less than $1 million; <br />c. The contractor must purchase additional insurance if claims reduce the annual <br />aggregate below $600,000; <br />d. The State of Colorado must be named as additional insured on each <br />comprehensive general liability policy; <br />e. Certificates of insurance must be provided to the State within 10 working days after <br />receipt of Award; and, <br />
