As built drawings for the Prospect Pond and new collection
ditch will be submitted as well as the SAES on Map 12 for Section
11.
The stoker pond inlet has sufficient rock protection to
maintain the inlet. The minor erosion noted during the inspection
was insignificant and represented movement of a minor amount of
fines into the pond from the regraded inlet.
Regarding the main office area, Colowyo
concurrence by Mike Long, that construction of the
requirements of Rule 4.04 Support Facilities
permitting action would be necessary.
Monitoring of the new Upper Goodspring
initiated. Where beaver activity has impeded strf
will make a best guess estimate of stream flow.
contended with
office meets the
and no further
site has been
yam flow, Colowyo
Colowyo believes the Permit contains all of the required
information for diversions transporting water (perimeter ditches)
into water-treatment facilities (sediment ponds). Under the
direction of the Division in 1981, the information was submitted to
and approved by the Division as part of the initial permit. After
a lengthy discussion of the subject the topic was tabled subject to
future discussion with Mike Long regarding acceptable historic
permitting issues. In the interim the subject sediment control
system for the work area and loadout will continue to function as
designed and continue to meet all applicable requirements.
Explosives
Colowyo is unaware of requirements that explosive storage
containers should be locked while being used during normal business
hours. It is a matter of Colowyo policy, however, that the
explosive magazines should be locked whenever possible.
Facilities
The SPCC plan will be updated as necessary to reflect the
changes to regulated facilities.
Topsoil
Topsoil stockpile sumps have not been necessary at Colowyo as
stockpiles have not shown any tendency towards any significant loss
of the resource. Revegetation of the stockpiles has, in
particular, been a quite effective means to control erosion. All
stockpiles have signs.
