the CONTRACTOR shall provide the PROJECT MANAGER with a written plan of bulkhead seal <br />removal prior to beginning work. <br />Measurement and Payment <br />Payment for this item will be reflected in a lump sum bid under Item 4. This lump sum bid will cover <br />payment of all costs for the demolition, debris placement into the mine workings, backfilling and <br />recontouring of the air vent. There will be no measurement for payment. Payment shall be as this <br />item is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. Payment for this item will be made <br />only for that amount shown under Item 4 of the Bid Schedule. Any or all incidental costs incurred <br />by the CONTRACTOR shall be reflected in each Bid Item or shall be paid at the Contractor's <br />expense. <br />PROJECT OBSERVATION <br />The PROJECT MANAGER will be at the project site periodically to monitor construction activities <br />and ensure that each work item is completed and constructed to design specifications. The <br />PROJECT MANAGER will be available during regular business hours (8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.) on <br />weekdays. Inspections will not be scheduled on weekend days or holidays without prior approval <br />of the PROJECT MANAGER. It is the Contractor's responsibility to schedule inspections with the <br />Project Manager so as not to delay the work. The following items must be observed and approved <br />by the PROJECT MANAGER before proceeding with additional work: <br />All Equipment Rental hours <br />2. Air vent structure demolition and placement <br />3. Final recontouring of air vent area prior to revegetation <br />3. All revegetation procedures. <br />The attached General Conditions for Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Terms and Conditions <br />apply to all work. <br />
