3. Automobile Liability (Minimum). The contractor must carry a minimum of $600,000 combined single limit. VENDOR OFFSET Pursuant to C.R.S. 24-30-202.4 (as amended), the State Controller may withhold debts owed to state agencies under the vendor offset intercept system for: (a) unpaid child support debt or child support arrearages; (b) unpaid balance of tax, accrued interest, or other charges specified in Article 22, Title 39, C.R.S.; (c) unpaid loans due to the student loan division of the Department of Higher Education; (d) owed amounts required to be paid to the unemployment compensation fund; and (e) other unpaid debts owing to the State or any agency thereof, the amount of which is found to be owing as a result of final agency determination or reduced to judgment as certified by the controller. PROJECT WORK DESCRIPTION Item 1 -Equipment Rental This item includes machine time using aturbo-charged excavator. Machine size will be a medium sized, CAT 3206E or equivalent excavator with a minimum 20-foot reach and operator. Excavator time is expected to perform initial excavation of collapsed mine features, recontouring and pull-back for slope alignments with surrounding topography as well as site hydrologic control work, and other machine work as directed. Equipment Rental will be in accordance to specifications (19.0) in the General Bid Specifications, 1996. Equipment time will start as directed by the PROJECT MANAGER from the location as marked on the site map. Measurement and Payment Payment for this task will be reflected under Item 1 of the Bid Schedule as an hourly rate for a CAT 3206E or equivalent excavator and operator. Bid hourly rate shall reflect the CONTRACTOR'S estimate for equipment and personnel costs per hour to complete the task. Measurement will be actual hours required to complete work as directed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER performed on-site as shown on the location map. Item 2 - Rinra Item 2 includes the procurement, transport and placement on-site of minimum 36-inch diameter (least dimension) riprap. Riprap will be hard, durable, non-sedimentary in origin. Placement will be defined as in the subsidence feature(s) after preparation is complete at the mine-site. The 30 tons per bid schedule is NOT guaranteed. Measurement and Payment Payment for this task will be reflected under Item 2 of the Bid Schedule as per ton placed riprap. The riprap cost shall reflect the CONTRACTORS estimate for procuring, transporting and placement of riprap to complete the task. Measurement will be actual tons of riprap required, to complete work as directed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. Weight tickets will be required in order to be submitted for payment.
