• <br /> <br />a. For the top three benches at elevations of 6,865 feet, <br />6,945 feet, and 7,025 feet: <br />• (1) The slopes or faces shall be sloped as <br />much as possible in order to soften the vis- <br />ual effect and to allow as much as possible <br />any type of growth that might cling thereto. <br />(2) On the benches, the applicant shall place <br />no less than 18 inches of top soil. <br />(3) The applicant shall apply to th~~ benches, <br />organic fertilizer in a ratio of not less than <br />20 tons per acre, but in any case, that which <br />is necessary to establish growth acceptable to <br />the Board of Adjustment. <br />(4) The slopes or faces shall be curved and <br />. contoured rather than constructed with corners. <br />(5) The benches shall be planted with trees, <br />bushes, climbing vines and other acceptable <br />ground cover to the end that the benches and <br />slopes or faces will be covered with vegetation <br />as much as technically possible. <br />(6) Once planted, all vegetation shall be <br />Watered and fertilized until growth acceptable <br />to the Board of Adjustment is established and <br />the growth is self maintaining. <br />b. For all other benches: <br />(1) Other slopes or faces need not be angled as <br />much as the top three slopes or faces. <br />(2) The bench shall be covered with not less <br />than 14 inches of top soil. <br />(3) The applicant shall apply to each bench, <br />organic fertilizer in a ratio of not less than <br />20 tons per acre, and in any event, that amount <br />which is necessary to establish growth accept- <br />able to the Board of Adjustment. <br />. ~ (4) All slopes or faces of the quarry shall be <br />curved and contoured at the corners. <br />-5- <br />
