<br /> <br />,~ <br />(5) All benches shall be planted with bushes, <br />climbing vines and other ground cover to the <br />end that the ledges and faces will be covered <br />With as much vegetation as technically possible. <br />(6) Once planted; all vegetation shall be water- <br />ed and fertilized until growth acceptable to the <br />Board of Adjustment is established and said growth <br />is self maintaining. <br />c. As mining is completed on each bench, reclamation of <br />said bench shall commence immediately. <br />9. For purposes of controlling dust, the applicant shall <br />shut. down all sources of fugitive dust whenever fugitive dust emissions <br />exceed the applicable standards of the Colorado Division of Mines, State <br />and County Health Departments, or the Colorado Occupational Safety and <br />Health Act. To control dust emissions, the applicant shall employ the <br />following dust control remedies: <br />a. Wet drilling and dust suction devices shall be em- <br />ployed in all drilling operations. <br />b. Water spray bars shall be installed and operable <br />at all dust producing points in the crushing operation <br />on a year round basis. <br />c. Watering trucks or other devices shall be employed <br />as required on areas of the benches and quarry floor <br />where restoration and vegetation has not taken place. <br />d. On any portion of the access roads which have not <br />been oiled or paved, watering trucks or other devices . <br />shall be employed as required on a regular basis. <br />10. A Performance Bond shall be provided for reclamation to <br />the Board of Adjustment and the Board of County Commissioners of Jeffer- <br />son County in the amount of Two Hundred, Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00; <br />in +3 form acceptable to the County Attorney's office., The County may be <br />named as joint obligee with the State of Colorado on a bond mutually ac- <br />ceptable to both entities. <br />11. The applicant shall maintain its present bodily injury <br />and property damage insurance policy with Agricultural Insurance Co. <br />(PO:Licy g4GA373554), or similar insurance in the following amounts: <br />-6- <br />
