Grand Mesa Coal should also <br />submit updated replacement pages of Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division (MLRD) Permit No. C-81-034 to <br />reflect the amended NPDES permit. <br />SURFACE WATER MONITORING <br />1. Lower Ward Creek <br />a. Bi-annual (May and September) instantaneous flow <br />measurements. <br />b. Bi-annual field measurement of temperature, pN, and <br />conductivity. <br />c. Water quality sampling may be deleted. <br />2. Williams Creek and Upper Ward Creek <br />a. Bi-annual measurement of stream flow coincident with Lower <br />Ward Creek. <br />b. Bi-annual field measurements coincident with flow <br />monitoring. <br />3. Irrigation Ditch Sites SP-A, SP-C, SP-D <br />a. Bi-annual flow measurements at SP-D only during irrigation <br />season coincident with creek monitoring. <br />b. Field measurements coincident with flow monitoring. <br />c. Water quality sampling may be deleted. <br />4. Nelson Ditch <br />a. Continuation of weekly flows through May, 1986 to establish <br />one year of baseline data. <br />b. No field or water quality monitoring required. <br />5. S rp i ngs <br />a. Bi-annual (May and September) measurements of instantaneous <br />flow at all flowing springs (1-5). <br />
