-2- <br />Avenue and 132nd Avenue between Brighton Road and Nome <br />Street. The mining plan on these 145.5 acres was <br />allowed for 22 years. It is the applicant's intention <br />to prepare this 5 acre site located within the mining/ <br />reclamation plan area and erect an asphalt batch plant <br />for processing of the aggregrate mined.. <br />Access to the 5 acre site under consideration will be <br />directly off Nome Street adjacent to the area of the <br />mining and reclamation plans. The applicant has <br />indicated a willingness to provide extensive screening <br />of the proposed asphalt plant to mitigate off-site <br />visual impacts. <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN COMPATIBILITY: The site of this request is <br />located within the Agricultural Land Use Designation. <br />However, .the site is included within the Mineral Conservation <br />Overlay Zone and a Conditional Use for mining and reclamation <br />of this site has been approved. <br />UTILITY SYSTEMS: <br />WATER: Bottled water <br />SEWER: Temporary toilets <br />FIRE PROTECTION: Brighton Fire Protection District <br />PARKING: None shown, however, ample parking area is <br />provided on site for the employees of the mining operation. <br />ROAD SYSTEM(S): <br />ABUTTING SITE: None <br />ACCESS FROM: Nome Street <br />CLASSIFICATION: N/A <br />PRESENT ROW: N/A <br />PROPOSED ROW: N/A <br />FLOODPLAIN(S) AFFECTING SITE: None <br />SOILS LIMITATIONS: Low <br />EROSION POTENTIAL: Low <br />
