<br /> <br /> <br />-S- <br />and soil data for the AVF areas which we propose operating under/ <br />through. Additional meetings will be necessary to determine the <br />type and extent for field work which will be required to adequately <br />address the CMLRD concerns on the AVF issue. <br />Jim Pendelton stated that every bit of monitoring data <br />gathered from the early mains and panel areas will be used in <br />determination of the acceptability of extraction under Fish Creek <br />and the AVF area. <br />Larry Damrau presented that the reclamation plan material <br />would require minimal additional information due to the lack of <br />affecting any new surface area within the five year permit period. <br />George Young presented his desire of strict confidentiality <br />concerning the aspects presented. He informed the CMLRD personnel <br />that they would be kept up to date concerning the currently pending <br />LMU activities with BLM.- <br />Ed Bishoff expressed a desire to receive information associated <br />with the overall impacts of all mining operations within the area. <br />Geoff Weston expressed his concern that we may be limited in our <br />efforts to obtain such information with other companies in light <br />of the critical legal issue of collusion. <br />Jim Pendelton cautioned us of the excessive stipulations that <br />the BLM has recently been including on federal coal Lease agreements. <br />Ed Bishoff questioned whether we presently controlled the leases <br />necessary to conduct the mining activities which we propose and whether <br />other leases will be necessary. George Young informed him that we <br />control enough coal to present a proposed mining operation in <br />accordance with the general operations plan presented to the CMLRD <br />at this meeting. <br />Mitigation of specific impacts not previously discussed were <br />then addressed. <br />Roy Cox stated that red flags have previously been raised in <br />the Foidel Creek Permit Revision Findings Document concerning <br />hydrologic impacts which would require mitigation. <br />Richard Wright informed the CMLRD that we anticipate the <br />first secondary extraction to take place in 1985 for the present <br />
