Rock production at the existing Lyon quarries will be reduced. <br />1 Comments: No rock production has taken place at the Lyons quarries since the Dowe Flats <br />quarry came into production before the year-five review. One pit is maintained as a <br />kiln dust disposal site. <br />16. Interim County compliance reviews at the end of years 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, and 20. <br />Comments: Interim reviews at yeazs I, 3 and 5 have been completed. <br />17. Cease loading and hauling operations when sustained winds exceed 30 MPH. <br />Comments: Cemex maintains an anemometer on site. Appendix E includes the on-site data for <br />wind and operations response. Loading and hauling has ceased at the Dowe Flats <br />quarry when the wind has sustained speeds of over 30 MPH. <br />18. Investigate alternative back-up beepers. <br />Comments: The federal Mine Safety and Health Administration standards have not changed, <br />and back-up beepers continue to be required. Back up strobe lights aze allowed by <br />MSHA at night, but Dowe Flats does not operate at night. <br />19. Amend CMLRB Permit to conform to County-approved plans. <br />Comments: The CMLRB permit was amended to incorporate the Prairie Reclamation Plan <br />required by Boulder County staff. <br />PART 2: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION (94-81) <br />DATED 6/28/94 <br />1.
