Section II -Revisions to the Permit <br />Subsequent to the proposed decision to approve the permit renewal request, Peabody Western Coal <br />Company has submitted and a Division decision has been made for the following revisions: <br />Technical Revision No. 26 was received by the Division on December 15, 1992, and deemed <br />complete on December 18, 1992. The revision application, in response to Stipulation No. 27 to the <br />Seneca II Mine permit, included the following: <br />Updated operations plan, revised prediction of probable hydrologic consequences, <br />demonstrations for existing small area exemptions/areas with alternative sediment <br />control measures, updated Wolf Creek Fill monitoring plan, and updated light use <br />and access road locations. <br />The revision was approved March 31, 1994. <br />Technical Revision No. 27 was received by the Division on January 19, 1993, and deemed complete <br />on January 28, 1993. The revision application, also in response to Stipulation No. 27, included a <br />revised reclamation cost estimate, and modified revegetation success determination methods and <br />standazds. The portion of the application relating to revegetation success standazds was later <br />removed. The remainder of the application was approved on May 4, 1994. <br />Minor Revision No. 39 was issued in the field on April 16, 1993. The revision allowed for <br />placement of a temporary topsoil windrow on the northeast edge of the Wolf Creek pit. <br />Minor Revision No. 40 was received by the Division on May 5, 1993, and deemed complete on May <br />14, 1993. The revision application was in response to Notice of Violation No. C-93-057, which <br />required extension of the approved disturbance azea boundary. The revision was approved on May <br />19, 1993. <br />Minor Revision No. 41 was received by the Division on June 28, 1993, and deemed complete on <br />July 9, 1993. The application was a request for relief from the requirement to construct a fence <br />around the PeCoCo impoundment. The revision was approved on July 14, 1993. <br />The following permitting action is currently under review: <br />Succession of Operator No. 1 was received by the Division on July 5, 1994.
