B. Quality Control Manuals from the MANUFACTURER for the installation and testing <br />of the geogrid. <br />C. Quality Control Certificates from the MANUFACTURER. <br />1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. All work shall be constructed, monitored, and tested in compliance with the <br />requirements of the Construction Quality Assurance Plan (Section 01400.21. <br />CONTRACTOR and MANUFACTURER shall participate in and comply with all items <br />in these SPECIFICATIONS and requirements of the COA plan. <br />B. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that each geogrid MANUFACTURER that supplies <br />materials to this project has an internal product quality control program that meets <br />SPECIFICATIONS. <br />C. Geogrid rolls that do not meet the requirements of this SPECIFICATION will be <br />rejected. CONTRACTOR shall replace the rejected material with new material that <br />conforms to the SPECIFICATION requirements, at no additional cost to OWNER. <br />1.05 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING: <br />A. Packing and Shipping <br />1. Labels on each roll delivered to Site shall identify the following. <br />a. MANUFACTURER'S name <br />b. Product Identification <br />c. Thickness <br />d. Roll number <br />e. Batch or lot number <br />f. Roll dimensions <br />2. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that geogrid rolls are properly loaded and <br />secured to prevent damage during transit. <br />3. CONTRACTOR shall protect geogrid from excessive heat, cold, puncture, <br />cutting, or other damaging or deleterious conditions. <br />4. CONTRACTOR shall ensure personnel responsible for loading, transport, <br />and unloading of geogrid are fully aware of the consequences of damage <br />to geogrid, and are familiar with handling and transport constraints <br />imposed by MANUFACTURER. <br />5. Geogrid shall be supplied in rolls wrapped and relatively impermeable and <br />opaque protective covers, with straps for unloading. <br />B. Acceptance at Site <br />1. MANAGER shall perform inventory and surface inspection for defects and <br />damage of all geogrid rolls upon delivery. <br />2.
