<br />3. CONTRACTOR shall repair damage resulting from handling and transport <br />of geogrid at no additional cost to OWNER. If irreparable, in the opinion of <br />MANAGER, damaged materials shall be replaced at no additional cost to <br />OWNER. <br />C. Storage and Protection <br />1. MANAGER will provide area for on-site storage of the geogrid rolls from <br />time of delivery until installation. <br />2. The storage and handling of the materials is the responsibility of <br />CONTRACTOR from the time the materials are manufactured until the time <br />the completed installation is accepted. CONTRACTOR is responsible for <br />preparing the storage location and for the protection of the materials from <br />the elements (e.g. ultraviolet light, moisture, temperature, etc.l. <br />3. After CONTRACTOR has removed material from storage, CONTRACTOR <br />shall protect geogrid from puncture, dirt, grease, water, moisture, mud, <br />mechanical abrasion, excessive heat and other sources of damage. <br />4. CONTRACTOR shall preserve integrity and readability of the geogrid roll <br />labels, and store the rolls such that MANAGER and CERTIFYING <br />ENGINEER have access to the package slips or roll labels for each roll to <br />verify roll acceptance. <br />5. The rolls shall be stored on a prepared surface Inot wooden pallets) and <br />should not be stacked more than two rolls high. <br />2.01 MATERIALS: <br />A.
