Geogrid Tests and Inspection
1. Geogrid MANUFACTURER shall perform quality control testing of the
gecgrid. Samples not satisfying specifications shall result in the rejection
of applicable rolls. At a minimum, the following tests shall be performed
for quality control in accordance with test methods specified in Table
2.01.
a. Density
b. Mass per unit area
c. Thickness
d. Carbon black content
2. At geogrid MANUFACTURER'S discretion and expense, additional testing
of individual rolls may be performed to more closely identify noncomplying
rolls and to qualify individual rolls.
3. Geogrid manufacturer shall perform quality control tests at a frequency of
at least every 50,000 ft~ of geogrid produced.
March 22, 1996 Section 02776.1
02276.1.4 Geogrid
Revision 1
