The type of geomembrane was linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). The <br />specifics are shown below for the product: <br />2.0 Test Apparatus <br />The apparatus used in for this test consists of a 10 inch inside diameter steel tube, <br />approximately 18 inches in height. A series of pictures showing the testing cell at <br />various stages of assembly is shown in Figures 3a end 3b. The cell is clamped to the <br />base plate with clamps while the tie-down rods anchored to the cell base plate extend <br />upward to allow the reaction force to be applied to the sample against the top plate.
