PROJECT START <br />The project is scheduled with a startup date of September 1, 1992. If your <br />company cannot schedule construction during this period, please do not bid on <br />this project. A Notice of Award will be sent to the apparent low bidder <br />within four (4> days of the bid opening. The Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />must receive the required insurance, bonds and project schedule within <br />fourteen (14) days after the bid opening. At the expiration of the fourteen <br />days, CMLRD may elect to award the contract to the next lowest bidder. <br />Bidders are advised to keep in close contact with CMLRD during this period. <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE AND PRE-CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS <br />The project is scheduled for construction between September 1 and <br />September 30, 1992. A schedule of work items to be completed within this time <br />period must be submitted to the PROJECT MANAGER for approval prior to the <br />start of construction. The project schedule shall show Time Lines of major <br />activities and Bid items, and shall demonstrate the CONTRACTOR'S ability to <br />complete the project within the allotted time. <br />TIME OF COMPLETION <br />The time of completion allowed for the project is 30 calendar days after <br />receipt of the Notice to Proceed. <br />LIQUIDATED DAMAGES <br />The liquidated damages for this project will be $300 per day. Please see <br />"General Conditions", Numbers 9 and 10. <br />BID BOND <br />A bid bond is required for this job. Please see the "General Conditions" <br />Number 4. <br />PERFORMANCE BOND AND LABOR AND MATERIALS PAYMENT BOND <br />A performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond are required for <br />this job. Please see the "General Conditions" Number 6. <br />THREE-WAY AGREEMENT AND INSURANCE <br />A three-way "Agreement for Reclamation Activities' is not required for this <br />job. Please see Number 5 of "General Conditions" for the applicable insurance <br />requirements. <br />LIST OF EQUIPMENT OFFERED <br />The "List of Equipment Offered" form must be returned with each bid. All <br />equipment to be used on the project must be listed. The CONTRACTOR must own, <br />have a current lease for the equipment intended to be used to perform the <br />-2- <br />
