Ventilation Fan Housing <br />This structure is shown on Exhibit 3A and on drawino sheets 16, 17, <br />and 18 of 30. All remaining above grade portions of the fan airwav <br />housing, motor building, contents inside the airway housing and <br />motor housing, concrete floor slabs, mofor and fan mounts, <br />foundations and footers, fan horn foundation, old substation <br />concrete pad and fencing, and the concrete wingwall for the portal <br />#6 entry shall be demolished or otherwise dismantled, removed and/or <br />disposed of to the same extent and using the same performance <br />standards specified in Section III. 2.2.8.2 of the Special <br />Conditions. <br />12. Substation <br />This structure is shown on Exhibit 3A and drawing sheet 19 of 30. <br />Items to be demolished or otherwise dismantled, removed and/or <br />disposed of in accordance with Section III. 2.2.8.2 of the Special <br />Conditions consist of the fencing, gate, concrete transformer <br />support blacks, the concrete slab beneath the transformer blocks; <br />and all wires, cables, and other electrical devices between the <br />power poles and transformers. Demolition and removal of Dower poles <br />and power lines is covered in a subsequent section. The 3 <br />electrical transformers shall be disconnected from their mounts, <br />transported to and placed for storage within the east mine area <br />substation fence enclosure depicted on Exhibit 3E. All lifting, <br />transportation, and final placement operations shall be conducted <br />in strict accordance with the manufacturer's handling specifications <br />listed on the transformer casings. In addition, the transformers <br />shall remain in an upright Dosition at all times during lifting, <br />transport and placement. Each transformer shall be placed on a <br />level, stable surface and supported on all bottom contact surfaces <br />with timbers, concrete slabs, or structural steel material Dlaced in <br />such a manner that prevents the transformers from tipping. The <br />CONTRACTOR shall exercise extreme care during all handling <br />operations to prevent damage to the transformers. Any coolant <br />fluids remaining inside the transformers may contain toxic and/or <br />hazardous materials such as polychlorinated biphenols (PCB's 1. <br />13. Rock Dust Building <br />This structure is shown on Exhibit 3A and drawing sneet 20 of 30. <br />All above grade Dortions of this structure, an.y contents, inside the <br />structure, all concrete slabs, foundation and footers, concrete rock <br />dust bin supports, and the CMP manwa.y leading to the upper diversion <br />bypass culvert shall be demolished or otherwise dismantled, removed <br />and/or disposed of to the same extent and using the same performance <br />standards specified in Section III. 2.2.8.2 of the Special <br />Conditions. <br />-9- <br />
