<br /> <br /> <br />2:25 PM Blast - (Approximately 1,000 ft. from nest just outside buffer <br />zone) fairly loud, eagle on nest reacted by hunching down a little - <br />no other observable response. <br />2:35 PM - Left site. <br />OBSERVER: Terrell Johnson <br />5/2 2:30 PM Arrived - One adult bird on nest brooding/incubating, other <br />adult flying along sandstone. <br />2:50 PM - Left site <br />OBSERVER: Terrell Johnson <br />5/11 10:00 AM Arrived - Adult on nest brooding/incubating. <br />10:08 AM - Adult left nest and flew out of sight to the west. <br />10:20 AM - Left site. <br />OBSERVER: Terrell Johnson <br />5/24 3 PM Arrived - Both adults soaring above nest, young downy chick <br />visible on nest. <br />3:10 PM - Left site. <br />OBSERVER: Terrell Johnson <br />6/21 8:50 AM Arrived - No eagles visible. <br />8:53 AM - Both adults flew in and landed above sandstone. <br />8:59 AM - Young eagle on nest stood up so visible - still had lots <br />of white on head - this eaglet not as mature as eaglet on Middle <br />Creek Eyrie to the east which appears fully feathered. <br />9:14 AM - Adults flew off. <br />9:22 AM - Left site. <br />OBSERVER: Terrell Johnson <br />6/27 9:50 AM Arrived - Adult eagle on sandstone ledge, 2 young eagles on <br />nest, one larger than the other. <br />10:45 AM Blast - Somewhere on the mine, no significant movement <br />indicating disturbance. <br />11:40 AM - Both eaglets appear to be feeding. <br />11:45 AM - Both eaglets calling. <br />11:55 AM - One eaglet on ledge flapping wings, other feeding. <br />12:00 PM - Left site. <br />OBSERVER: Claire Semmer <br />
