7/7 10:20 AM Arrived - Adult eagle soaring over nest for several minutes <br />then left, immature eagle at base of sandstone below nest, sitting on <br />rock on ground. Young eagle flapped wings and hopped between rocks, <br />it still has quite a bit of white leg feathers and mottled white under <br />wings, head is now completely brown. No other birds seen. <br />10:40 AM - Left site. <br />OBSERVER: Terrell Johnson <br />7/8 6:05 AM Arrived <br />6:07 AM - Adult eagle flew in and landed on sandstone and then flew <br />off. <br />6:17 AM - Immature eagle finally spotted above sandstone in sagebrush <br />to west of nest. <br />6:21 AM - Adult eagle flew in and landed on sandstone in shaded area <br />out of sight of young eagle. <br />6:35 AM - Young eagle vocalizing off and on. <br />7:00 A>9 - Both young and adult still present, young eagle doing some <br />preening. <br />7:30 AM - No change, left site. <br />OBSERVER: Terrell Johnson. <br /> <br />
