<br /> <br />(1) Procedures that will be used to provide horizontal and <br />vertical control, measure and record the elevation of the top <br />and bottom of the wall and amount of penetration into <br />bedrock, and identify the type of bedrock the excavation <br />penetrates; <br />(2) Descriptions of the field and laboratory tests that will be <br />performed and the frequency of each type of test; <br />(3) Actions to be taken if unsatisfactory material or workmanship <br />are discovered in the installation; <br />(4) Qualifications of field and office personnel. <br />iii. Thornton shall have the right to observe any portion of the soil- <br />bentonite wall installation. <br />iv. Any interim written quality control observation reports and results of <br />field and laboratory tests received by Aggregate shall be provided to <br />Thornton upon or before the execution of this Agreement and shall <br />continue to be provided during the installation of the liner. <br />Thornton may also have a representative present at any meetings <br />between Aggregate and its consultants or contractors relating to the <br />installation of the liner, and Aggregate shall notify Thornton of any <br />such meetings at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the time of <br />the meeting. <br />v. A final completion report prepared by a Colorado registered engineer <br />that demonstrates the constructed liner is substantially in <br />compliance with the design shall be provided to Thornton within <br />sizty (60) days after completion of liner installation. The final <br />completion report shall include at a minimum the following: <br />(1) Plan and profile drawing that shows the as-constructed <br />location of the liner, the top and bottom elevation of the <br />liner, the depth of penetration into bedrock, and a <br />description of the type of bedrock penetrated; <br />(2) Results of the field and laboratory tests performed and daily <br />observation reports; <br />Hammer <br />Option & Purchase Agreement <br />December 11, 2000 <br />Page 8 of 29 <br />
