Water quality monitoring shall <br /> consist of the effluent limitations plus total dissolved solids. <br /> The requirement has been incorporated into the permit on page 2.05-59 and 2.05-69. <br /> STATUS: Terminated <br /> Stipulation No. 27 <br /> This stipulation number was never used. No Stipulation No. 27 exists. <br /> Stipulation No. 28 <br /> Mountain Coal Company or any succeeding operator of the West Elk Mine must <br /> continue to submit to the Division an annual hydrologic report. This report shall <br /> include an analysis of all hydrologic data gathered during the year, an assessment <br /> of the impacts of mining during the year, and an estimate of the project impacts of <br /> mining in the following years. This report shall assess the impacts of mining on the <br /> quality and quantity of water in surface streams, springs, ground water aquifers, <br /> mine inflow and mine discharge. <br /> This stipulation has been incorporated into the reorganized permit document (TR-59) on <br /> page 2.05-69, formerly on pages 4-68, 4-70, and 4-71 . <br /> STATUS: Terminated October 27, 1989 <br /> Stipulation No. 29 <br /> Within ninety (90) days of approval of the lower waste pile permit revision, WECC <br /> shall submit a revised water monitoring plan that includes monitoring of the waste <br /> pile. The plan shall include direct sampling of the sediment pond and underdrains <br /> discharge twice per year during the second and third quarter of the year. The <br /> parameters shall be the full list of chemical constituents, as least for the first year. <br /> MCC may request an adjustment of the monitoring requirements after the first year, <br /> depending on the results of the monitoring. <br /> STATUS: Complied With <br /> 12 <br />
