We recommended
leaving the utility lines as they are to avoid further disturbance to
the area.
Actions
Both the scalehouse and the equipment house have been painted as recommended.
The scalehouse was considered in 1974 to have a minimum of unfavorable
visual impact. P1any of the cuts were in rock where
backsloping was impractical.
The fill slopes were seeded without hydromulching. Success was limited.
Subsequent grading of the road kept disturbing the fill. In 1974 the
1
