FOR THE RECORD <br />Regarding Stipulation #5 <br />States: <br />The permittee shall revise the permit within 120 days of <br />approval to refloat the following requirements. in the case <br />of required changes, below, the permittee must have written <br />approval of the Division prior to the stipulation being <br />satisfied. <br />1. The Division is setting a woody plant density of 1000 <br />live stoma/acre for the revegetation success standard <br />for the sagebrush community. <br />2. The Division is setting the following species <br />diversity revegetation auacess standard: <br />Species diversity will be considered adequate oa the <br />revegetated sagebrush community areas if the permittee <br />has established two species of cool-season bunch grasses, <br />two species of cool-season sod grasses, two species of <br />leguminous forbs, and two species of woody plants; each <br />species of the above being represented by not less than <br />3$ relative cover or more than 40$ relative cover on the <br />revegetated surface. <br />Previous History: <br />Stipulation # 5 enacted in original permit, dated 1/85. <br />Minor Revision 07, dated and approved 8/15/86 incorporated the <br />operator's commitment to Stipulations 1,4,5,7,8,9-12. <br />Found revised page 4-75p-1 in file, but unknown if ever <br />entered into permit (no other information located on MR 07 in <br />specialist file or public files). Not in permit in 1988 <br />version or 1990 version or with Technical Revisions 7,8, or 9 <br />which dealt with miscellaneous issues from Permit Revision 1 <br />and 2. <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board decision on 12/19/90 <br />reinstates only the second condition, grass standards in <br />Stipulation #19. Operator never acted on this. <br />Stipulation #22 therefore, (a reinstatement of Stipulation #5) <br />was entered into the permit renewal, 7/92. <br />
