Pit Rezoning <br /> Dear Mrs. Winter: <br /> The purpose of this letter is to certify that at a meeting of the Board <br /> of County Commissioners of the County of Boulder, State of Colorado, duly <br /> called and held on Monday, April 19, 1982 at 10:15 a.m. , in consideration <br /> of the request described as follows: <br /> Docket #Z-82-4 - Deepe Farm Pit <br /> Request: Approval to rezone a parcel of 42 acres to Mineral <br /> Extraction Overlay (MEO) <br /> Location: South of the Denver-Boulder Turnpike and west of South <br /> Boulder Creek in Sections 9 & 16, T1S, R70W <br /> the following action was taken: <br /> The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Boulder, <br /> State of Colorado, CONDITIONALLY APPROVED the request for <br /> rezoning, subject to the the following: <br /> 1) Although basic conceptual layouts of the Alternate Excavation <br /> Plan Mao and Reclamation Plan Map for the entire property are <br /> generally acceptable, Rezoning approval is strictly limited <br /> to the first two (2) stages of mining as identified in the <br /> Alternate Excavation Plan Map or a maximum period of seven (7) <br /> years of operation. Formal review and additional approval will <br /> be required prior to commencing any mining activities on stages <br /> 3 through 6. The map submitted by the applicants and entitled <br /> the "Alternate Excavation Plan Map" which shows the stage 1 <br /> operations area located near the eastern boundary of the property <br /> is the approved mining plan map with the exception of revisions <br /> to haul roads as accessory uses to stages 1 and 2. <br /> 2) That the state noise standards for residential areas apply to <br /> the mining site and that sound be measured and calculated <br /> according to the accepted standards of the U.
