Coal Ridge No: 1 Mine - 2 - _ April 6. 1990 <br />,' - _ <br />1 _ Since the renewal was issued the permlttee has submitted an application for a <br />Permit Revision which updates the previous Dermit application document and <br />requests permission to mine coal. If this Permit Revision is approved by the <br />Division, the reclamation-only status of the permit may be changed, and an <br />~_ updated Findings Document will be prepared by the Division. Otherwise New <br />Castle Energy Corporation is required to complete backfilling, grading, <br />seeding, and mulching of the site, in accordance with the approved reclamation <br />plan, by December 10, 1990. This Mid-Term Review is being carried out <br />assuming only reclamation activity, as that is the current status of the <br />permit: <br />Status of Conditions and Stipulations <br />Condition No: 1 <br />- UPON APPROVAL OF THE RENEWAL APPLICATION. THE APPLICANT SHALL COMMENCE <br />- ~~~ -IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RECLAMATION PLAN AND COMPLETE ALL•BACKFILLING, GRADING, <br />SEEDING AND MULCHING OPERATIONS AS REQUIRED WITHIN ONE (1) CALENDAR YEAR OF <br />PERMIT ISSUE. <br />__-_ - This condition is currently in effect. The deadline for the above reclamation <br />operations is December 10, 1990. <br />Stipulation No. 3 (as modified by Technical Revision 4) <br />THE DIVISION REQUIRES THAT COAL RIDGE N0. 1 MINE SUBMIT AN ANNUAL REPORT BY <br />JANUARY 15 OF EACH YEAR INCORPORATING THE FOLLOWING: <br />BEDROCK WELLS AND ALLUVIAL/COLLUYIAL WELLS <br />OW-3L, OW-12 <br />OW-4L, OW-13 <br />OW-7, OW-14 <br />OW-8 <br />THESE WELLS ARE TO BE SAMPLED ON A BIANNUAL BASIS (TWICE A YEAR) AND THE <br />SAMPLES ANALYZED FOR THE FOLLOWING PARAMETERS. <br />Ca C03 <br />Mg S04 <br />Na N03 <br />K Fe <br />HC03 C1 <br />SAR Conductivity (lab) <br />TDS pH (lab) <br />This stipulation is currently in effect, and hydrology monitoring is ongoing. <br />
