5. Geomembrane rolls that do not meet the requirements of this SPECIFICATION <br />will be rejected. CONTRACTOR shall replace the rejected material with new <br />material that conforms to the SPECIFICATION requirements, at no additional <br />cost to OWNER. <br />6. CONTRACTOR shallensure[hatallpersonnelperforminggeomembraneseaming <br />operations are qualified by experience or by successfully passing seaming tests <br />(see Article 3.081D) of this section). MANAGER reserves the right to reject any <br />welding technician whose performance is unsatisfactory. <br />7. INSTALLER'S Installation Superintendent and QC Inspector shall attend the pre- <br />construction meeting. <br />D. Field Samples <br />1. Geomembrane sampling and testing shall be conducted in accordance with the <br />project SPECIFICATIONS for the following: <br />a. trial seam testing (Article 3.07 of this Section) <br />b. destructive seam testing (Article 3.09 of this S=coon) <br />2. CONTRACTOR shall maintain on•site a minimum of one spare operahle <br />[ensiome[er and provide documentation indicating that all tensiometers used at <br />the project were calibrated within 60 days prior to the tensiometer arriving on- <br />site for tasting field samples. <br />E. In order to prevent wind damaged geomembranes from being placed, the following <br />Quatiry Assurance procedures shat( be followed: <br />1 . CONTRACTOR shalt perform its Work and utilize sufficient ballast as necessary <br />to prevent wind uplift of the geomembrane panels. <br />2. If wind damage should occur, MANAGER and CERTIFYING ENGINEER shall <br />determine if the geomembrane shall be repaired or replaced. Wind damage to <br />the geomembrane will include wrinkles, creases, and tears, as determined by <br />MANAGER and CERTIFYING ENGINEER. <br />3. Repair or replacement of the wind-damaged geomembrane shall be completed <br />by CONTRACTOR at no additional cost to OWNER. <br />4. As determined by MANAGER and CERTIFYING ENGINEER, the geomembrane <br />panel may be rejetted at no cost to OWNER. <br />1.04 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING: <br />A, Peeking and Shipping <br />1. Labels an each roll delivered to Site shall identify the following. <br />a. MANUFACTURER's name <br />b. Product Identification <br />c.
